Hi I’m Jeff

Having a dog as a companion is a special gift in life that I believe everyone should experience. Dogs have an unconditional love that can make you smile even on your worst days. I’ve been allergic to dogs my whole life. This never stopped me from having a loving loyal companion, but it caused me to have continually itchy arms. That was until my wife brought home a Poodle named Tux. It has been so nice to not feel itchy all of the time. My granddaughter Kallie also has asthma and dog allergies so having dogs that are Hypoallergenic was necessary. Having a hypoallergenic non shedding dog was wonderful. My wife and I now have 8 dogs. 7 poodles including Tux and an F1 Bernedoodle named Beau. I breed F1B Bernedoodles so that I can raise hypoallergenic, amazing, loyal, loving, companions for families like mine. There’s no better feeling than when we match one of our puppies with their caring new owner. It’s why we put so much time, love and effort into making sure these special dogs turn out amazing.We’ve learned a lot about the process of DNA health testing, and have become one of the top Bernedoodle breeders. My dogs are more than just pets they are a member of my family. Because of this I have been a dog mom my whole life. There is a special bond between a dog and their families. Even when I got married and began having human children I always had furbabies as well. My children loved growing up with dogs in the house and helping raise puppies. Being a part of the creation of something wonderful and unique is a special experience. My dogs have always brought an element of joy and wonder to my family. They bring everyone closer together. Now 30 years later and I am able to share that joy with my 14 grandchildren. When you adopt a puppy it’s the start of a beautiful journey. Nothing can replace the experience of having a dog. It’s a special kind of magic watching them grow and experience new things. It’s exciting, full of love, and beautiful memories. We “adopted” Yogi from SwensenDoodles almost a year ago. Yogi is the absolute cutest, sweet, smart, loving, and well adjusted puppy we’ve ever gotten. We added him to our family, we already had a Sheepadoodle, Cookie. She is the boss and Yogi loves her and lets her be just that. I say he’s smart for many reasons, but when he moved in with us, he followed what his big sister Cookie did, and he never, even once, had a potty accident inside. That’s incredible! I know Yogi is the way he is because of the way he was raised by Jeff Swensen from birth. Jeff was so nice and kept us informed about Yogi. He kept Yogi a couple extra weeks for me as I recovered from Covid. If we ever get another puppy, it is an absolute certain that we will return to SwensenDoodles for another.

Our experience with SwensenDoodles was fantastic! This was our first time buying a bernedoodle and we were very picky on the genetics of the parents. Tonya knows a lot about every dog that she breeds and provided great information to any questions that we had. We ended up getting two female doodles. We live in Utah and drove to Wyoming to spend time with all the pups and picked out the ones that we have. Tonya helped tremendously when we were deciding on whether or not we wanted two puppies or just one. We picked up our puppies at 8 weeks and we were provided food, toys, and so much more. We absolutely love our pups and are so happy that we chose SwensenDoodles!

It’s why I put so much time, love and effort into making sure these special puppies find the right homes. I am a third generation Breeder. My grandma was a Breeder, and my parents are Breeders, and now I proudly follow in the family business and have become one of the top breeders in Southwest Wyoming.I have always loved animals especially dogs and they have always been apart of my life. They have comforted me in my darkest moments and have celebrated with me on my best days. I raise all of my puppies in my home one litter at a time. My husband and 3 children help me raise each litter of Furbabies and enjoy helping me make them successful.
